In-depth communication to explore new trends in the industry together

On Dec. 9th,2024, under the leading of Dr. Cao Zhenlei, the former chairman of China Association of Paper-Making and director of the Advisory Expert Committee, Zhao Zhendong, full-time vice president of Shandong Province Paper Association, and a delegation from China Paper Magazine went into Shandong Xinhe Paper Engineering Co. (hereinafter referred to as "Shandong Xinhe"), in-depth understanding of the development history, technological innovation and market layout of this comprehensive high-tech enterprise integrating paper-making engineering design and development, machinery manufacturing, engineering installation and commissioning, and turnkey projects. Mr. Zhang Lei, Chairman of Shandong Xinhe, Mr. Yang Enze, General Manager, Mr. Xia Jirui, Vice President of Technology, Mr. Zhang Yusheng, Vice President of Production, Mr. Liu Fei, Vice President of Sales, and Mr. Zhou Dong, Secretary of the Chairman, were responsible for the reception and communication. 

Dr. Cao Zhenlei shared his insights from the 2024 China Paper Academy delegation to Finland & Germany. Firstly, the European paper industry is undergoing a rapid transformation, with pulp mills turning into organic raw material suppliers through materialization and comprehensive utilization of fiber components. Secondly, the market demand for cultural paper in Europe has been declining, and many companies have withdrawn from the market and gradually shifted to the field of green packaging materials. In addition, the promotion of sustainable development of new technologies continue to emerge, especially the energy saving equipment and digital intelligent control technology is accelerating the transformation of the use. Finland's foam forming technology and Germany's dry paper making technology have made significant progress; the development and application of new packaging materials is also encouraging, paper-based materials have been commercialized in the packaging of leisure food and hygiene products, promising prospects, it is expected that the size of the future market will exceed the heyday of the traditional printing paper; at the same time, the pulp forming technology is also constantly innovating, showing a huge potential for commercialization.

Mr. Zhang Lei, chairman of the board, firstly shared the development history  of Shandong Xinhe. When talking about the company's future development, Chairman Zhang Lei said, with the promotion of paper machines in recent years, the 5660-800mm fourdrinier multi-cylinder towel paper machine designed and developed by Shandong Xinhe has been the widest width of the domestic  fourdrinier towel paper machine, and Shandong Xinhe technical team developed a tissue machine soft boot pressure device technology to improve product quality, at the same time, to reduce energy consumption, the product has gained a high degree of recognition in the market. The products are highly recognized by the market. In the future, Shandong Xinhe will continue to make new R & D and new contributions in the field of household paper, paperboard, cultural paper, specialty paper and new paper grades, and further optimize the company's new manufacturing capacity through the transformation to digitalization to promote the green, low-carbon and sustainable development of the papermaking machinery industry.
